Latest News and Information from the Managing Director.
Since my last update we have had two starters and one leaver. Gary Carter joined us with his wealth of expertise within the Dry Dock and ship repair industry and I know his expertise will prove invaluable.
Shane Allen also joined us to take care of our material movements and logistics, he will also attend dry dock from time to time to keep a sharp eye on our material usage during larger dry docks. I know you will be hearing more about this addition in future updates as he is eager to move up within the company. Alas we are in turn, unfortunately and with great sadness saying farewell to Tony Wheeler. Tony has been an integral part of our team for many years and he will be missed in our office and on our surveys, but we wish him every success in the future. Stacey Holt has exceeded all of my expectations in the last year or two and has very deservedly earned herself a promotion to Office Manager, she has proved her worth over and again and has really made the effort to learn and take on all the practices of our customers and suppliers alike and I would like to thank her for all her support and loyalty over the years she has been working along side me. So an interesting year, as it always is. Two new starters, one leaver and a promotion in house. We have been nice and busy and carried out some lovely projects. We have resumed working for P&O UK, which is marvellous for us as a company to be operating out of our home port once more, so all in all another good year. Watch out for more updates in the next instalment. |
